Akasha Hall

Akasha Hall

Akasha Hall is a beautiful, historic chapel with wrap around decks and even a bell tower! The Hall is wide open with portable seating, including a large circle of rocking chairs. The space can be set up with tables for large group dining, games or workshops. Or it can be cleared for a lovely meditation or yoga practice, a dance floor. There is also a ping pong table for a fun evening activity.

There is a full bathroom, kitchenette and library in the Chapel. Up the spiral staircase in the Chapel addition is another bedroom with a full sized bed.

Outdoors

The views at Akasha are spectacular (especially from the hammock!). Right around the corner is Shifflett’s Mill Road which is a 2 mile dirt road known as one of the most beautiful walking, running and biking routes in Albemarle County. On the property, there are several outdoor fire circles, an authentic 22 foot Sioux tipi and a sweatlodge. We also maintain a large organic vegetable and herb garden.
